ER 40113801 Thermal Cut-off for Whirlpool Dryer

Part Purpose: Prevents the dryer from overheating by cutting off the power to the heating element if the dryer becomes too hot.

Part location on appliance: Typically located on the heating element housing inside the dryer.

Part failure symptoms: Dryer not heating, dryer running but not drying clothes, or dryer shutting off mid-cycle.
