Part purpose:
Board controls all functions of the furnace and monitors safeties, energizes the ignitor, energizes the blower motor, and energizes the exhaust fan.
Part location on furnace:
Mounting is commonly on the blower housing.
Part failure symptoms:
A bad board is indicated when all components controlled by the board test good and all safeties monitored by the board test good.
